Artist Pan African Impact
● Purpose:
This award celebrates an artist who has consistently used their creative talents to address pressing social issues across Southern and East Africa, including but not limited to human rights, inequality, positive cultural transformation, democracy, governance, and accountability. The nominee must be apolitical, engaging inclusively across communities or the country to promote their message. Eligible art forms include music, poetry, painting, theatre, sculpture, photography, and film. The individual must prove authorship of their work and present a substantial body of work that demonstrates dedication and commitment to their cause.
Please note: Zimbabweans are not eligible to apply for this award.
● Criteria:
- Artistic excellence and originality.
- Measurable influence, advocacy, and cultural impact.
- Proven consistency and sustained engagement over a minimum of five years.
