As the year drew to a close, businesses and institutions seized the opportunity to treat their valued partners, clients, and colleagues to a night filled with networking, entertainment, gratitude, luxury, and recognition through buying tables and tickets for them to attend the event.
The essence of The List Awards was to extravagantly honor impact makers in Zimbabwe, Southern and East Africa do-gooders, showering them with appreciation and elegance.
VIP tables were meticulously arranged, ensuring those at the forefront of community impact felt both special and celebrated. The ambiance was nothing short of five-star, creating a perfect backdrop for an evening of networking and partnership.
Guests were greeted with a delightful cocktail reception at the entrance, where they mingled and connected over refreshing drinks. This lively atmosphere set the tone for the evening, fostering conversations and connections among influential minds in attendance.
A five star sumptuous four-course meal was enjoyed through out the night, allowing attendees to indulge while being inspired by the remarkable achievements of Zimbabweans and Africans.
The night featured classy entertainment by the Mbira queen Hope Masike who was also a winner in the Entertainment Impact Category, and Gary Tight, the son of the jazz crooner William Tight. They both delivered a class act that left the audience asking for more, especially post awards ceremony where Gary and Hope wowed the guests and had them dance!
Our Hosts; the international standard duo Marisa Marinda and Mcdonald Gurura delivered a quality night that set the professional and elegant ambiance to the ceremony with one guest saying; ‘your Hosts were top notch, they managed to contributed to the great international standard of the awards which we liked so much’.
The List Awards provided a unique platform for honoring impactful work while networking opportunities among partners and clients. Funny games that promoted networking sponsored by Old Mutual were played with winners walk away with valuable items.

The List Awards Board Chairperson Pastor Philani Nyatsanza echoed the power of community for those working in our communities that we gathered to celebrate and those who came to support, expressing gratitude for all organisations and companies that supported this initiative. He expressed this through his talk that he gave the audience during the awards ceremony on friendships and solidarity in our work session.
